Firefly announced that it is acquiring Mavericks Consulting Inc.

Based in Milpitas, CA, Mavericks Consulting Inc. is an industry-leading team of highly trained technology consultants, architects, developers, and engineers. Mavericks' mission is to enable its clients' cloud, security, and application strategy via professional services, technical consulting, and software development. The acquisition expands Firefly’s ability to address its clients' needs in cloud-based solutions and multi-cloud infrastructure.

Firefly’s Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Usherwood, states, "We see an increasing demand for adoption services in complex multi-cloud IT strategies that extend far outside the training room. This acquisition will provide Firefly with the ability to expand Mavericks’ Technology Adoption services to our broad client base, which includes technology vendors, their partners, and their clients.

Customers’ adoption services include a software-defined data center, microservices and containers, security, and multi-cloud implementation and management. Mavericks can deliver the right solution. Combined with Firefly's full range of advanced training, education, and mentoring services, we offer the most comprehensive evaluation and adoption solutions in the multi-cloud and security technology market today".

Mr. Brait will assume the role of Director of Adoption Services at Firefly.

The acquisition of Mavericks Consulting Inc. is expected to close March 6th, 2020. Terms were not disclosed.
